Operations Support Team Leader

The Senior Operations Supervisor is a pivotal management role tasked with delivering comprehensive leadership and guidance to a dedicated team of employees, ensuring the provision of operational support services in collaboration with the Operations - Core team. The primary aim of this position is to guarantee the efficient delivery of operational support services in accordance with the Citi operations support framework and methodologies.

Key Responsibilities:

Guide and develop a small Operations Support team (typically up to 10 members) by assigning daily tasks and responsibilities, while also proposing new work processes to enhance operational efficiency. Facilitate training sessions, assess the quality and quantity of team output, and provide constructive feedback on performance, including recommendations for salary adjustments, promotions, and terminations. Evaluate Operations data and make informed decisions to address challenges. Identify and resolve routine issues and operational challenges that may impact the broader department, adhering to established protocols. Determine staffing requirements to maintain adequate team levels. Act as a substitute for the manager when necessary. Operate with a limited degree of direct oversight. Demonstrate the ability to exercise independent judgment and autonomy. Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) to senior stakeholders and other team members. Exhibit strong team management capabilities. Strive to meet client needs while delivering an outstanding client experience, which will be evaluated through specific performance metrics. Carefully assess risks in business decisions, with a focus on protecting the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients, and assets by ensuring compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and policies, applying sound ethical judgment in personal conduct and business practices, and transparently managing and reporting control issues while holding others accountable for maintaining these standards.

Required Qualifications:

2-5 years of relevant business experience, including at least one year in a supervisory capacity. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications. Strong leadership and motivational abilities. Proven organizational and time management skills. Demonstrated problem-solving and decision-making capabilities. Consistently displays clear and effective written and verbal communication skills.

Educational Background:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
