Key Responsibilities:
- Purchasing Strategy Development: Create and execute purchasing strategies for specific commodities, taking into account cost-effective solutions and business objectives.
- Cost Management: Manage costs of products and services through research, quotes, pricing negotiation, and issuance of purchase orders.
- Supplier Management: Select qualified suppliers and manufacturers, develop new supply sources, and maintain productive relationships with suppliers to obtain best purchasing prices.
- Budgeting and Forecasting: Develop budget estimates and forecasts for specific commodities, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Commodity Management: Develop and implement commodity strategies, manage inventory, and ensure timely delivery of products and services.
- Communication and Collaboration: Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams, including suppliers, manufacturers, and internal stakeholders, to ensure seamless execution of purchasing strategies.
Requirements:
- Experience: At least 5 years of experience in purchasing, preferably in the automotive industry.
