About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Payroll Specialist to join our team at Carrier Global Corporation. This individual will play a critical role in ensuring accurate, efficient, and compliant payroll processing for our national organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Update payroll data changes in the payroll system
- Ensure accurate and timely processing of payroll, including reviewing documents received and ensuring they are properly completed and authorized prior to processing
- Review payroll reports prior to the live production of the payroll
- Reconcile data errors and communicate corrective action
- Process payroll-related activities, such as deposits to employees' bank accounts and payroll banking issues
- Respond to external inquiries from government agencies and banks, as well as employee and management inquiries related to payroll
- Assist with balancing year-end payroll filings and reports according to Federal, State, and Local legislation and deadlines
Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience in a payroll role within a national organization
- Advanced level of English
- Degree in a related field (Office Administration, Accounting, Payroll) is preferred
- In-depth knowledge of the GlobalView (ADP) SAP-based payroll system
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel)
- Solid understanding of Payroll Administration and Human Resources practices and procedures
- Excellent organizational skills, time management, and ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Good interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively with a team
