Job Summary

Citi is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Software Development Manager to lead our Applications Development team. As a key member of our technology organization, you will be responsible for driving the development and implementation of our applications and systems.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with multiple business teams to ensure seamless integration of functions and identify opportunities for system enhancements and process improvements.
  • Resolve complex problems and projects through in-depth evaluation of business processes, system processes, and industry standards.
  • Develop and maintain advanced knowledge of system flow and coding standards.
  • Provide in-depth analysis and interpretive thinking to define issues and develop innovative solutions.
  • Serve as a technical advisor and coach to mid-level developers and analysts, allocating work as necessary.

Qualifications

  • 6-10 years of relevant experience in software development or systems analysis role.
  • Experience in managing and implementing successful projects.
  • Subject Matter Expert (SME) in at least one area of Applications Development.
  • Ability to adjust priorities quickly as circumstances dictate.
  • Demonstrated leadership and project management skills.
  • Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication.

Education

  • Bachelor's degree/University degree or equivalent experience.
  • Master's degree preferred.

Requirements

  • Strong understanding of architecture and system design.
  • Experience with ETL Ab Initio components.
  • Leadership experience in project management.
  • Ability to manage budgets and resources.
  • Supervisory experience in software development teams.
  • Advanced technical knowledge in ETL.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Fluency in English (verbal and written).
  • Experience in Agile methodology.
  • Experience in implementing solutions for high-volume data.
