PepsiCo Mexico is seeking a highly skilled Senior Quality Control Manager to join their innovative team in Guadalajara Sabrita ́s Facilities. With a broad portfolio of food and beverage products, the company aims to be the global leader in convenient foods and beverages by winning with purpose.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in quality management, supply chain operations, and leadership skills. As a key member of the plant QM Pillar, this role will drive business changes, solve operational issues, and build people capability through employee relations, hiring, training, and communication.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver effective change leadership while driving business changes
  • Communicate and collaborate cross-functionally to solve operational issues
  • Build people capability through employee relations, hiring, training, and communication
  • Identify and lead efforts of product/process quality and cost management opportunities
  • Lead the plant QM Pillar through the TPM journey
  • Provide forward-thinking insights for future business improvements
  • Serve as a key statistical resource
  • Lead quality control compliance QAS audit and military audits
  • Assist in food safety compliance audits
  • Ensure all sanitation is complete and properly meets quality standards
  • Design and implement programs to monitor calibration and accuracy of all analytical procedures and equipment
  • Ensure compliance to the OSHA chemical hygiene plan and proper laboratory safety practices
  • Lead the interpretation of in-process and analytical data to make quality evaluations
  • Lead risk assessment analysis throughout the plant
  • Manage issues with non-conforming product
  • Provide training in the area of food science, regulatory requirements, and quality measurement systems
  • Administer quality control policies and procedures

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required. Preferably in engineering, business, operations management, or a similar field
  • Minimum of 4 years' experience in Quality & Supply Chain operations
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience leading teams
  • Strong knowledge of Mexican standards and Management Systems related to Health, Environment, Quality Management, Food Safety, Metrology, and Microbiology
  • Clear understanding and working knowledge of process and compliance quality systems in a manufacturing environment
  • Advance English proficiency
  • Results-oriented, challenging environment
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to get results through mentoring others
  • Effective coaching, facilitation, presentation, and team-building skills
  • Experience using Statistical tools
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements and AIB standard

This position offers a competitive salary of approximately $80,000-$110,000 per year, depending on experience. The location is in Guadalajara Sabrita ́s Facilities, Mexico.
