As a Cost Program Manager, Data Center Equipment, you will play a critical role in driving the cost management lifecycle of data center equipment at Google Cloud. This involves in-depth analysis of equipment spend and unit costs, driving data-driven decision-making, and developing processes, tools, reports, and dashboards to deliver visibility, control, and governance in this space.
You will have the opportunity to lead and optimize the cost management lifecycle of data center equipment, working closely with cross-functional teams to identify areas for improvement and develop solutions to drive cost savings and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities- Manage and maintain costs for all equipment supply chain products in our centralized cost database.
- Partner with equipment supply chain and external teams to incorporate costs in supply planning, budget asks, and cost roadmaps to inform decision-making.
- Develop cost benchmarking and analytics to support discussions, justify cost changes, and ensure proper equipment funding.
- Lead process improvements for tracking and reporting on savings and cost avoidance, developing dashboards, reports, and tools to provide visibility, governance, cost insights, and controls to key internal stakeholders.
- Act as the cost data steward, responsible for enforcing data governance policies and standards to ensure quality, accuracy, and security of the data.

What We're Looking For- Experience in cost analytics, financial data analytics, or a related field.
- 2 years of experience in program or project management.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
