Key Responsibilities
As an HSE Coordinator, you will be instrumental in upholding our dedication to safety, environmental stewardship, and operational excellence. Your role within the Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) department will be vital in driving our objective of achieving 'zero accidents' and minimizing our ecological footprint.
Your primary responsibilities will include:
Ensuring compliance with the Group's HSE policies and standards. Developing and executing the HSE Management framework, facilitating its review with the management team. Monitoring regulatory updates, evaluating site compliance, and suggesting continuous improvement initiatives. Promoting a robust HSE culture through effective tools, key performance indicators, and collaborative projects. Leading self-assessments of site compliance, identifying deficiencies, proposing corrective actions, and ensuring their implementation. Participating in the analysis of accidents or incidents, determining corrective and preventive measures, and overseeing their execution. Conducting HSE audits, recommending improvements, and tracking the progress of action plans. Organizing and engaging in regular regulatory inspections and emergency preparedness activities. Collaborating with both internal and external stakeholders to foster a proactive and self-sufficient HSE approach.Work Relationships:
Collaborate with HSE site services, management teams, CSSCT representatives, and the wider HSE network. Engage with internal medical services and occupational health professionals as necessary.External Engagement:

Qualifications and Skills
Educational Background:
A Master's degree or higher in HSE or a related field, or equivalent substantial experience in an industrial setting.Professional Experience:
Familiarity with HSE tools and methodologies essential for assessing and mitigating safety and environmental risks: risk assessment, data analysis, problem-solving, etc. Knowledge of national regulations and standards pertinent to the scope of work. Experience as an internal auditor for HSE management systems. Proficiency in both oral and written English at an intermediate level.Skills and Attributes:
Self-sufficient and proactive. Ability to maintain perspective in all situations (including managing incidents and crises). Detail-oriented and methodical.What We Offer
