Bakery Specialist

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Bakery Specialist to join our team at JW Marriott Cancun Resort & Spa. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking food according to recipes, quality and presentation standards, and food prep checklists.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare ingredients for cooking, including portioning, chopping, and storing food before use.">
• Safely and appropriately use baking and measuring tools/equipment/appliances to prepare baked foods.">
• Follow and ensure compliance with food safety handling policies and procedures, including personal hygiene procedures.">
• Monitor the quality of food prepared and portions served throughout shift.">
• Comply with quality expectations and standards.">

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should have a high school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent and less than 1-year related work experience. You must also be able to stand, sit, or walk for an extended period of time and perform other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors.

Compensation

The estimated annual salary for this role is $42,000-$55,000 USD, depending on qualifications and experience. Benefits include medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) matching, and paid time off.
