About the Role

We are seeking an experienced executive to lead our Softlines and Fashion business in Mexico. As the leader of this critical business division, you will be responsible for driving growth and profitability across our apparel, shoes, watches, luggage, jewelry, and private brands.

Key Responsibilities
  • Business Growth and Profitability: Develop and execute strategies to improve revenue and margin across all levers, including selection, inventory levels, promotion, vendor negotiations, and operational efficiency.
  • Customer Insights and Expectations: Anticipate and understand customer expectations, changing customer perceptions of online commerce for Fashion products in Mexico, and share insights with the wider Mexico Country Leadership Team and the WW Softlines/Fashion teams.
  • Team Leadership and Development: Inspire and motivate a talented team to deliver on its objectives by spreading best practices and helping to address any constraints to growth.
  • Analytics and Optimization: Use detailed analytics and technical capabilities to optimize business models and customer experience, working with central and Global teams and adapting best practices to the nuances of the Fashion Industry.
  • Team Building and Representation: Build an outstanding, world-class team driven by teamwork and able to swiftly operate in the highly demanding environment of Amazon, and represent Amazon Mexico in the SL emerging marketplaces forums.
  • Selling Partners and Vendor Management: Manage Selling Partners and support existing partnerships in a strategic and competitive manner, unlocking better value for Sellers, Vendors, and Customers.
  • Strategy and Execution: Create strategy documents focused on innovative ideas, segment operating plans, and feature gaps remediation, and drive execution of those plans.
