**Job Summary**

The Materials Program Manager plays a critical role in supporting the NPI team by ensuring timely and cost-effective procurement of critical tool components. This position requires strong analytical and communication skills to interact with commercial and technical individuals across various time zones.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Forecast and communicate engineering, materials, and manufacturing requirements to suppliers
  • Provide input to the sourcing team by performing make versus buy analysis
  • Coordinate demand signals through MRP to minimize inventory exposure
  • Form the Materials Core Team and coordinate product development process deliverables through matrix management of buyers, planners, and production control
  • Collaborate with the engineering team to define and interpret engineering requirements
  • Coordinate activities around source selection, specification creation, and price negotiation with appropriate team members
  • Manage project metrics related to cost, timeline, and objectives
  • Actively mediate and partner with quality and engineering teams to resolve supplier quality issues

**Requirements**

  • Proven project management experience, preferably as a project manager
  • Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, and MS Outlook
  • Basic knowledge of SAP or Oracle preferred
  • English speaking and writing required, Mandarin, German, and/or Korean preferred
  • Able to handle multiple tasks concurrently
  • Solves complex problems; takes a new perspective on existing solutions; exercises judgment based on the analysis of multiple sources of information

**Job Type**: Contract

**Contract length**: 6 months

**Salary**: $511.95 per hour

**Ability to commute/relocate**: Monterrey, N. L.: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work
