Your Role: In this pivotal position, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Global Business Services organization by providing specialized reporting and analysis for Order to Cash (O2C) and Purchase to Pay (P2P) processes. Your expertise will be essential in generating periodic and ad-hoc reports for both internal and external stakeholders, ensuring that our financial operations run smoothly.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain comprehensive reporting for Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable portfolios.
  • Conduct thorough research and analysis of extensive data sets from various sources to produce actionable business insights for Global WBD O2C and P2P.
  • Design and implement reporting tools that enhance visibility for key stakeholders in AR and AP.
  • Provide analytical support for AR Collections, Cash Targets, AP Payments, and Cash Disbursement decisions.
  • Ensure the accuracy and quality of reporting through meticulous data analysis.
  • Collaborate with operations to support monthly financial analysis.
  • Proactively identify and resolve reporting discrepancies, escalating issues as necessary.
  • Utilize various reporting software, including Hyperion Essbase, SAP Business Objects, SQL, MS Suite, PowerBI, and Peoplesoft Query, to create and maintain reports.
  • Drive the automation of reporting processes and portfolio analytics.
  • Compile and consolidate data for high-profile company reports, including AR Securitization and Bad Debt Reserves.
  • Manage internal and external communications to ensure compliance with contractual obligations.
  • Prepare dashboards and ad-hoc reports for senior leadership, highlighting Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and metrics.
  • Analyze AR data to identify business trends, opportunities, and risks, communicating findings to relevant stakeholders.
  • Mentor and train junior team members, providing guidance and support in their professional development.

Qualifications:

  • Associate or Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or accounting.
  • Proven experience in reporting from ERP systems such as SAP, Peoplesoft, or Oracle.
  • Strong understanding of accounts receivable and accounts payable reporting principles.
  • Familiarity with general accounting principles is preferred.
  • Proficient in navigating various systems and software applications.
  • Strong work ethic with the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
  • Advanced analytical skills with the capability to present findings clearly.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Over 5 years of experience in finance or accounting reporting.
  • Experience in accounts receivable and accounts payable processes.
  • Advanced skills in report reconciliation and data accuracy.
  • Proficient in advanced Excel functions and reporting tools like Power BI or Tableau.
  • Experience in the Media and Entertainment industry is a plus.
