At F5, we are dedicated to shaping a superior digital landscape. Our teams empower organizations worldwide to create, secure, and operate applications that enhance our experiences in an ever-evolving digital realm. We are deeply committed to cybersecurity, safeguarding consumers from fraud while enabling companies to concentrate on innovation.

Our focus is fundamentally on people. This means we are committed to improving the lives of our customers and their clients. We prioritize fostering a diverse F5 community where every individual can flourish.

Are you enthusiastic about collaborating with intelligent individuals on challenging issues in an environment that values diligence, integrity, and teamwork over individual accolades? Do you seek the thrill and rapid pace of engaging projects, alongside colleagues who share a passion for addressing customer needs?

We are in search of a Program Management Specialist who possesses exceptional skills in leadership, analytical thinking, conflict resolution, and risk management to enhance our capacity for swift delivery in a dynamic environment.

Position Overview

The Program Management Specialist collaborates closely with Product Management, developers, architects, and operations to define and prioritize features and stories, ensuring alignment with customer and program requirements while enhancing development value. You should be adept at managing multiple simultaneous projects that are complex or high-risk and capable of formulating recovery strategies for projects that deviate from their intended path. You will manage the collection of product requirements comprehensively, aiming to achieve project goals with both quality and integrity.

The unique advantage you will provide is the mitigation of risk through improved analysis, decision-making, planning, and monitoring of the project or program.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Proficient in effective communication across written, verbal, and presentation formats to diverse audiences; Capable of developing a project schedule using work-breakdown techniques leading to a defined critical path; Skilled in designing and documenting a project charter that encompasses scope, schedule, budget, and risk management plans; Able to apply critical thinking techniques to analyze problems, develop solutions, build resource forecasts, or manage risk; Proficient in using either Waterfall or Agile methodologies for projects involving both software and hardware; Experienced in leading the gathering of product requirements and project scope across multi-functional teams; Capable of leading through influence to drive progress for both the team and program; Skilled in managing and facilitating team meetings and initiatives to effectively develop plans and achieve objectives; Excellent time management and organizational skills, with experience establishing guidelines in these areas for others; Strong understanding of technology companies or domains and the interactions between Marketing, Product Development, Manufacturing, Customer Support, Sales, and Professional Services; Expertise in standard tools for project and portfolio management such as MS Project/MS Project Server; Familiarity with the Atlassian suite (Jira, Confluence) is desirable; Proficient in MS Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Word.
