About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior FP&A Business Analyst to join our team at 332 Discovery Networks Mexico S. de R.L. de C.V. as a key member of the non-personnel Opex Planning FP&A CoE team.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Ensure deep knowledge related to streaming technology and product non-personnel costs (e.g. Cloud, Content Delivery Network, Platform Engineering, Product & Design).
  2. Design and maintain cost KPIs and benchmarking analysis which can be reviewed on a regular basis by business.
  3. Implement and maintain standard FP&A processes within managed streaming tech cost domain and ensure effectiveness and efficiency of these processes (month end close, forecast, budget).
  4. Provide high quality financial information and insights to business partners and finance leadership related to managed cost of organization.
  5. Work proactively together with the Business Partners on special projects in the area of streaming tech costs (system implementations, standard process design, development of required reporting, allocation process, cloud modelling).
  6. Support the month end close process from an FP&A perspective with variance analysis focusing on streaming tech and product non-personnel opex costs.
  7. Summarize key findings to support discussions and decision making with the business.
  8. Monitor actuals utilization vs budget/prior year and provide required commentary on key variances.
  9. Coordinate planning and forecasting of non-personnel cost of P&L for DTC (process governance and execution).
  10. Advise and drive developments in systems to provide more accurate and timely reporting.
  11. Participate in transformation projects related to FP&A Streaming Tech and Product (e.g. ERP and EPM systems implementation and process re-design and stabilization).
Requirements
  1. 5+ years of relevant finance professional experience with minimum 2+ years in FP&A area.
  2. Experience in Tech Finance environment is a plus.
  3. Working experience with financial control, management reporting, and business analyses, preferably within an international environment.
  4. Strong stakeholder management and relationship building skills.
  5. Intellectual capacity to digest complex information, see trends and analysis through data and to translate this into concrete actions.
  6. Project management, change management, and process improvement experience.
  7. Experience in working with EPM solutions for planning and reporting (i.e., SAP BPC, Hyperion, Anaplan, Adaptive).
  8. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  9. Strong team player.
  10. Business driven attitude and a sparring partner for management.
  11. Excellent analytical skills.
  12. Pro-active and hands-on.
  13. High drive and energy level.
  14. Fluent in English.
