We are seeking a highly skilled English into Spanish (Mexico) Transcreator/Copywriter to join our team at Welocalize, Inc. as a key contributor to our global clients' marketing and sports content.

Key Responsibilities
  • Transcreate, write, copy edit, and adapt sports-related content, including soccer matches.
  • Perform regular linguistic review of their own work and the work performed by other members of the localization team for all content types.

Requirements
  • BS/BA and 2+ years of work experience in linguistic, journalism, copy-writing, or copy-editing media content.
  • Strong command of sport culture and terminology with emphasis on MLS/soccer.
  • Experience in translation and localization of multimedia content (with emphasis on sports).
  • Native-level fluency in Spanish (from Latin America).
  • Excellent grammar and writing skills in Spanish (Latin America).
  • Fluency in written and verbal English.
  • Strong creative writing, proofreading, and editing skills in Spanish (Latin America).
  • Knowledge of iOS/MacOS systems.
  • Ability to work independently and remotely.
  • Collaborative and enjoys teamwork in a multicultural environment.
