Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Supply Chain Manager to lead our supply chain operations at Adient. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing multiple sites from a supply chain discipline, ensuring seamless execution of supply chain processes, and driving business growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage multiple sites from a supply chain discipline, ensuring compliance with Adient's supply chain standards and procedures.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve supply chain efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance customer satisfaction.
  • Manage and coordinate the launch and engineering change management process, including supplier readiness assessment, system setup, EDI, installed capacity, lead times, labels, packaging, and other related activities.
  • Develop and implement obsolescence management strategies to minimize inventory risks and optimize supply chain performance.
  • Ensure compliance with Adient's supplier manual standard and rules of engagement, and monitor distressed suppliers to mitigate risks.
  • Develop and implement recovery plans to address past due and/or increase events, demand variation analysis, and associated logistic needs and costs.
  • Oversee El Paso Whs. personnel and resource needs to ensure efficient supply chain operations.

Requirements

  • Deep understanding of MRP and strong skills in Excel, PowerPoint.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and analytical thinking skills at a strategic level.
  • Project and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Root cause analysis skills to identify and resolve supply chain issues.

Preferred Qualifications

  • APICS certification.
  • Experience in QAD and automotive tier 2 supply chain.
