Main Responsibilities

  • Manage Supply Chain Activities: Oversee supply chain processes to support new product introductions (P1/P10). This includes:
    • Defining supply chain concepts and preparing quotations.
    • Leading logistics Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA) and managing information systems.
    • Collaborating with purchasing to establish the Supply Chain requirements file and validating supplier logistics protocols.
    • Defining and qualifying packaging for finished goods and work in process.
    • Establishing and qualifying protocols for transportation logistics service providers.
    • Defining and qualifying supply chain process equipment and internal flows.
    • Validating and qualifying supply chain master data and information systems.
    • Supporting continuous improvement initiatives within the supply chain.
    • Monitoring project milestones, including pre-serial deliveries and ramp-up phases.
    • Utilizing supply chain checklists to manage daily activities and review progress with project managers.
    • Addressing project logistics issues until the completion of phase 4b.
    • Participating in project meetings and leading project management assignments.
  • Participate in Line Transfers and Engineering Changes: Implement all supply chain activities for products involved in line transfer projects and support P0 projects.
  • Promote Supply Chain Standards: Train and coach both internal and external project contributors on supply chain standards, including:
    • Educating suppliers on Valeo standards and ensuring compliance.
    • Supporting supply chain activities to implement and promote various standards.
    • Leading the logistics FMEA for new projects and managing action plans.
    • Ensuring adherence to safety standards and compliance with quality management systems.
  • Manage Obsolescence Risks: Ensure material orders align with new product introduction needs and manage obsolete inventories effectively.

Qualifications

Education: Engineering degree or equivalent, complemented by APICS certification in Supply Chain Management.

Experience: A minimum of 3 years in supply chain management, with operational or project experience in the automotive industry.

Language Proficiency: Proficiency in English and regional languages.
