**Job Summary:**

The Payroll Operations Manager will have responsibility for at least 1 large account and potential portfolio of other accounts. This dynamic role involves team management and client engagement with a lead role for client escalations within operations. The opportunity to learn additional payroll countries is available.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Ensure that all processes are being executed based on payroll procedures with standards and tools in place and aligned for all accounts.
  • Ensure staffing and training at optimal levels.
  • Responsible for client satisfaction.
  • Responsible for key performance indicator management, with a strong focus on metrics to drive improvement and a strong action plan development for improvements.
  • Review account status (financial and client satisfaction) and participate in service review meetings with clients.
  • Manage change requests both internally and with clients.
  • Collaborate and work with commercial teams in sales opportunities.
  • Build relationship commitments with other areas.

**Required Education and Experience:**

  • BA/BS degree or equivalent is preferred; equivalent work experience required.
  • A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in payroll solutions is required, with at least 2 years in a leadership role. Knowledge of Mexico payroll legislation/taxation is required.
  • Advanced English (reading/speaking) required.
  • Domain expertise in payroll technology and solutions; prefer SAP experience.
  • Ability to build strong collaborative relationships, influence multiple partners, and establish common goals and objectives without sacrificing outcomes.
  • Excellent writing and verbal communication skills required. The ability to understand target audiences and translate complex concepts into clear and concise messages is required.
  • Thrives in matrix environments, is flexible, collaborative, and deadline-driven.
  • Strong organization skills with attention to detail, laser-focused approach on delivery of results is required.
  • Proven ability to take a complex business requirement and break it down into operational solutions is required.
  • Analytical mindset, critical thinking, problem-solving skills are required.
  • High-level proficiency in Microsoft Office Products is required.
  • Experience in in-house, outsourced, and co-sourced payroll service delivery models is preferred.
