About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Automation Specialist to join our team at Autoliv Mexico. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing processes, with a focus on safety and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- To analyze and improve existing automation systems, identifying areas for optimization and implementing solutions to increase productivity and reduce downtime.
- To design, develop, and implement new automation solutions, working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration.
- To provide technical support and guidance to maintenance technicians and operators, helping them to resolve issues and improve their skills.
- To collaborate with other departments to identify and prioritize improvement opportunities, and to develop and implement plans to achieve them.
Requirements:
- A degree in Mechatronics, Mechanical, Electronic, or Maintenance Engineering, with a focus on safety.
- Proven experience in automation engineering, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with colleagues at all levels.

- An attractive compensation package, including a competitive salary of $120,000 - $150,000 per year, depending on experience.
