Job Title: Quality Manager

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Manager to oversee all Quality activities and operations, ensuring compliance with quality standards and regulations. The successful candidate will have a strong background in quality management, excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, and the ability to lead a high-performing quality team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement quality systems and processes to ensure compliance with ISO, IATF, and VDA standards.
  • Manage and coordinate quality documents, procedures, and handbooks, ensuring they are up-to-date and aligned with company policies.
  • Monitor and approve quality documents, ensuring they meet customer and regulatory requirements.
  • Ensure received raw materials, semi-finished, and finished goods conform to control plans and procedures.
  • Oversee customer claims management, including audits and visits, and ensure timely issuance of 8D reports and action plans.
  • Represent customers in the plant, ensuring their needs and expectations are met.
  • Validate and coordinate internal and external audits, ensuring action plans are implemented and corrective actions are effective.
  • Prepare and control the annual quality budget and strategic plans, ensuring alignment with company objectives.
  • Recruit and develop a high-performing quality team, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to meet quality standards.

Requirements:

  • 5 years of experience in a similar position, preferably in an automotive manufacturing environment.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Industrial, Mechatronic, Electrical) or a related field.
  • Master's degree in Quality Management/Assurance or a related field is preferred.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to lead a high-performing quality team.
  • Strong knowledge of quality standards and regulations, including ISO, IATF, and VDA.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to represent customers in the plant.
  • Proficient in MS Office and other quality tools, such as FMEA, SPC, and MSA.

Working Conditions:

This is a full-time position, with a mixed schedule and the requirement to travel. The successful candidate will be required to have a valid visa and passport.

Language:

English is the primary language of communication, with a requirement for bilingual English and Spanish skills.
