We are seeking a highly skilled Software Commissioning Specialist to join our team at the Kion Group AG. As a Software Commissioning Specialist, you will play a crucial role in the integration and testing of systems, working closely with our technology and various disciplines to ensure seamless system integration.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work alongside our remote software team to perform on-site testing and support.
- Collaborate with our controls team to share communication and messaging information between systems.
- Communicate with our leadership team any near-miss of safety violation.
- Provide customer support, training, and stand-by support, reaching out for coaching if needed.
- Assist with ATP (Acceptance Test Plan), UAT (User Acceptance Test), and VTS (Volume Stress Test).
- Support new commissioners on site.
- Ensure commissioning activities are completed on time according to project needs.
- Upload SAP hours and expense reports on time.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechatronics, Computer Science Engineering, or a related field.
- Advanced English language skills (written and oral).
- At least 1 year of work experience in software engineering or a similar area.
- Conceptual knowledge of programming languages (C/C++, Java, SQL).
- Conceptual knowledge of continuous improvement methodology.
- Microsoft 365 skills (Word and Excel).
- Software testing experience.
- Manufacturing area knowledge.
- PPE and safety practices knowledge.
- Customer support experience desired.
- Strong communication skills.
