About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Data Modeler and Power BI Specialist to join our team at Braintrust. As a key member of our Go-To-Market team, you will play a critical role in executing data-related initiatives by understanding business needs, researching and analyzing data sources, and building dimensional data models that meet those needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Quickly use technical techniques to enable team understanding of available data within the context of specific business needs.
- Effectively communicate findings to both business and technical personnel, and iteratively execute follow-ups.
- Design effective dimensional data models to share with data engineers for technical ETL build.
- Frame high complex visualization and analytical solutions based on business needs and PepsiCo standard platforms.
- Anticipate and overcome technical and data problems to deliver assigned projects.
- Define and establish standards for data modeling across the PFNA Data & Digital Solutions Team.
- Lead Jr data analysts and assist other team members on project deliverables as needed.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree.
- English Proficiency Level.
- At least 3 to 5 years of experience in Data Modeling.
- Advanced knowledge in Power BI, DAX.
- Knowledge of cloud-based data analytics platforms.
Technical Skills:
- Power BI Certified.
- 10% of travel availability.
- Experience creating DDL data models.
- Ability to perform data discovery and profiling activities on data sets and present results to both IT and business users.
Non-Technical Skills:
- Ability to work with agile delivery methodologies.
- Ability to ideate requirements and design iteratively with business partners.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work at detailed technical level with data engineers, while equally proficient having business context conversations with business users.
