About the RoleWe are seeking a highly skilled Senior Hardware Design Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining marine electronics systems.
Key Responsibilities- Design and develop analog and digital circuitry, high- and low-speed card design, and create circuit synthesis, simulation, prototyping, and analysis.
- Develop schematic and design specifications, review printed circuit boards, and analyze them.
- Perform component testing and product validation (DFM, DFT), develop product testing strategy, and review Signal Integrity issues and certification standards.
- Select critical components and their design, perform proper approval and documentation of selected components, and create a list of product components and their maintenance in the system.
- Identify and manage hardware-related risks that impact on-time operation, cost, and on-time delivery, and document technical data and reports.
- Coordinate with production and test engineering for a proper introduction of the product and interact with engineers from other areas as support engineers for product troubleshooting (internal or external).
- University Degree in Electronic Engineering or similar.
- Management of CAD and MS Office, management of Hardware Development Tools.
- Minimum experience of 5 years in a similar position.
