Your Role at Baxter

As a Network Planning Senior Manager, you will be accountable for the operations of multiple managers, teams, or locations within our supply chain. You will be responsible for managing both onsite and off-site operations, prioritizing multiple specialized exempt employees and other managers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Generate replenishment requirements using demand signals, on-hand inventory, and inventory targets to meet financial requirements, operational capabilities, and wholesaler service objectives for assigned Business Units.
  • Identify process improvements using sophisticated analytics to lead a large complex product portfolio, facilitate exception-based planning to maintain targeted inventory levels, prevent stock-outs, and balance financial impacts.
  • Set monthly inventory strategy for Business Units through management of Inventory Optimization tools for efficient inventory targets at various locations in the supply chain to achieve service objectives with minimum working capital investment.
  • Recommend changes to the network supply plan when deemed vital over the planning horizon, governed through sales and operations execution (S&OE) and planning (S&OP) processes.
  • Collaborate and proactively communicate to drive a consensus approach to provide replenishment plans and exception-based reporting, making recommendations on actions needed to meet actual and forecasted demand.
  • Independently handle new product introductions and product conversions.
  • Report Key Performance Indicators for given Business Units, complete with process improvement initiatives, and prioritize tasks and deliverables in a timeline-driven environment.
  • Support the Network Planning Manager to drive continuous improvement efforts to improve performance on metrics, including service targets and network inventory levels.
  • Proactively address challenges, capitalize on opportunities, and anticipate emerging and future customer, marketplace, and competitive trends.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree required, Master's degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 7 years related experience in supply chain management - warehousing, distribution, logistics, transportation, or materials planning is required.
  • Advanced level of English.
