About the Role
At Infosys Mexico, we are seeking a highly skilled French Language Buyer to join our team. As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for sourcing and purchasing goods and services for our clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform direct and indirect purchases of goods and services, both locally and internationally.
- Negotiate prices and conditions with vendors, and prepare comparative evaluation matrices.
- Process data in SAP, including PR to PO and spot buys.
- Follow up on purchases until receipt of goods or services.
- Handle client and vendor calls, and validate procurement data.
- Assist the team lead in administrative tasks, and lead specific short-term or long-term projects as required.
Requirements
- Advanced level of French and English language proficiency.
- 2 years of experience in transactional procurement, with a focus on MRO (Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul).
- 2 years of experience working in a global delivery environment.
- Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Business, Administration, or a related field.
Preferred Skills
- Advanced level of Excel skills.
- Good knowledge of MS Office tools, tracking, and reporting.
- Good email etiquette.
- Knowledge of MS Excel Macros.
- Good reporting skills.
