Responsibilities- Lead a team of supply chain professionals to manage tactical and strategic NPI sourcing tasks.
- Integrate global category strategies with program deliverables.
- Meet program cost targets and launch milestones.
- Implement process improvement initiatives to streamline NPI sourcing responsibilities.
- Project manage supplier activities in support of program milestones and production launch.
- Determine inventory stocking and logistics strategies for suppliers with lead times longer than market-driven customer lead time requirements.
- Negotiate contracts and formulate policies with suppliers.
- Prepare and process the request for quotations, requisitions, and purchase orders.
- BA/BS degree, preferably in Supply Chain Management, Engineering or Business.
- 4+ years' experience in supply chain, engineering, manufacturing, or operations.
- 2+ years' experience building and leading teams.
- Technical knowledge/understanding of the Residential HVAC product industry or ability to learn expeditiously.
- Proven ability to succeed in the day-to-day management of competing priorities.
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail and superior follow-up and follow-through skills.
- Quantitative spreadsheet analysis of material cost and financial data.
- Working knowledge of Material Requirements Planning (MRP), inventory management, factory assembly processes, and bills of material.
- Highly energetic and success-driven.
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills, with the ability to be persuasive and make management presentations.
