**Job Summary**

The Senior Specialist, Global Master Data Management serves as the Subject Matter Expert and assists the Team Lead and/or Operations Manager in training Level 1 and Level 2 Analysts in the support processes. He spearheads learning new and/or updated processes and ensures to cascade to the team.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Develop and refine a structured taxonomy that categorizes products based on attributes like type, function, market segment, etc.
  • Ensure consistency and accuracy across all regions and business units.
  • Ensure that the product hierarchy aligns with the overall business strategy, market demands, and organizational goals.
  • This involves understanding the business landscape and adapting the hierarchy accordingly.
  • Enable accurate reporting and analytics by structuring the product hierarchy to reflect hierarchical relationships and attributes that are relevant for performance tracking and strategic decision-making.
  • Conduct regular audits and reviews of coding practices to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Identify and address coding errors or discrepancies through proper documentation and correction processes.
  • Assist Team Lead in mentoring and training new hires in the support and operational processes.
  • Conduct in-depth market research to gather added value information for enhancing the Customer Master database.
  • Timely tracker updates and reports submission.

**Requirements**

  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in a Management or Business-related course or any other courses related to this field or equivalent experience.
  • Exceptional organization and communication skills with experience in master data management.
  • Strong team effort and leadership mentality.
  • Good communication skills (verbal and written).
  • Proven proficiency in the use of Oracle and/or SAP, as well as MS Office Software – Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
  • Applicable knowledge of database maintenance through ERP Interface.
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, committed to delivering results, meeting multiple deadlines, and able to work under pressure.
