About the Role

AIT Worldwide Logistics, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Global Customer Accounts Manager II to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for managing our company's relationships with consumers and other businesses, ensuring our strategic positioning to engage new clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop, lead, and manage key accounts to achieve business objectives.
  • Accountable for the outcome of assigned projects, including KPI reporting, customer service, routing, problem resolution, vendor compliance, and customer interaction.
  • Develop solutions that address customer needs, coordinate with other departments and employees as needed, and work with clients to ensure their needs are being met.
  • Adhere to government and regulatory compliance standards, including AES, customs clearance, ITAR, screening of denied parties, and dangerous goods regulations.
  • Extract and analyze account data, providing sales and service quality data forecasts to management.
  • Creation and delivery of MBR and QBR data to meet or exceed global sales and client expectations.
  • Review account budgets, pricing, quoting, and improve cost effectiveness.
  • Assist global sales staff and offices with customer relations, resolution of issues, and create client solutions that drive additional business from assigned clients.

  • 10+ years of relevant experience in freight forwarding operations, account management, or sales experience in the supply chain industry, with 3-5 years in direct customer-facing roles.
  • Advanced understanding of air and ocean, imports and exports, with extensive work experience in one or more required.
  • Proficient in MS Word, Excel, and other MS Office software.
  • Ability to multi-task with strong attention to detail, self-motivated, and able to work within a virtual team across multiple time zones and global geographies.
  • Ability to source, format, and communicate/present data to internal and external clients, possibly presenting in conference rooms or virtual settings.
  • Able to facilitate global conference calls, possibly at afterhours, to include customer or operations teams across the globe.
  • Ability to problem solve and be solution-oriented in a fast-paced and high-volume environment.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, organizational, and planning skills.
  • Possess strong analytical abilities, exceptional communication skills, and the ability to think strategically and analytically about business and product challenges.
