- Participate in project meetings and activities, including project kick-off, sourcing plan, and technical steering committee.
- Support project managers in preparing sourcing plans and defining mutual commitments and conditions.
- Identify critical parts and review contingency plans with project teams.
- Collaborate with segment leaders to propose sourcing strategies aligned with group segment strategies.
- Select suppliers based on compliant segment panels and identify bundle opportunities.
- Assess supplier risks and propose mitigation plans with project teams and commodity organizations.
- Coordinate supplier design reviews and ensure supplier understanding and acceptance of Valeo requirements.
- Install competition between suppliers and negotiate RFQ and auction processes.
- Perform RFQ processes via PuMa and auction.
- Leverage commodity organizations to reach pre-sourcing, sourcing decisions, and meet project targets.
- Ensure timely sign-off with segments for all supplier contracts related to the project.
- Coordinate with project teams and suppliers to ensure project milestones are met.
- Define and control communication flows and contents between project teams and suppliers.
- Pilot and forecast project purchasing indexes and lead productivity action plans.
- Ensure proper transfer to serial production and implement productivity actions.
