Job Summary

Plexus is seeking a highly skilled Supply Chain Productivity Manager to develop and implement optimal supply chain solutions for our customers. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing value-added services, identifying opportunities for differentiation, and maximizing profitability for Plexus.

Key Responsibilities

  • Formulate and implement material quality control pricing strategies to align with overall account objectives and meet Plexus' financial goals.
  • Assist in the development of quoting strategies and opportunity plans to drive win rates and revenue growth.
  • Lead within your peer group, influencing, motivating, and enabling others to contribute to organizational success.
  • Lead strategic material cost reductions through global and regional sourcing, supply chain, and engineering solutions, incorporating material pricing, market conditions, and customer negotiations.
  • Promote Plexus' supply chain as a value-added provider of solutions, meeting existing customer needs and driving new business opportunities.
  • Execute Plexus' Best People strategy, focusing on evaluating potential, driving succession planning, and ensuring employee development and coaching.

Additional Accountabilities

  • Act as a liaison to customer fulfillment requirements, including flexibility, response time, service level, and on-time delivery.
  • Act as the voice of the customer for supply chain, ensuring Plexus is resourced and aligned to drive material shortage escalations and other material-related issues.
  • Collaborate with site materials, sourcing, finance, and customer-facing teams on material pricing to improve customer satisfaction and profitability.
  • Ensure Plexus material teams are prepared and informed for business review meetings with global customers.
  • Provide leadership during transitions to optimize supply chain strategies and preferred manufacturer suppliers.
  • Ensure alignment of common materials with global pricing strategy.

Requirements

  • A minimum of a Bachelor's degree is required; a degree in supply chain management or a related field is preferred.
  • Five (5) years of related experience is required.
  • Certification by ISM or APICS is preferred.
  • Previous customer management experience is preferred.
