Job Summary
As an IT Manager at Hyatt, you will play a critical role in providing technical assistance to employees, hotel management, and guests in utilizing our technology to achieve business objectives. This includes utilizing pre-established processes, procedures, and protocols (Hyatt IT Standards) to ensure the security, structure, and integrity of our network and IT systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the hotel's network infrastructure, servers, and applications, as well as optimize their performance.
- Perform maintenance and updates to the hotel's systems, causing the least possible interruptions to our operations, as well as ensuring respective data backups for disaster recovery.
- Install, maintain, and update hardware, software, network devices, and supervise other computer systems owned by the hotel, according to Hyatt standards.
- Manage changes required by corporate and industry initiatives in the components that make up the hotel's IT infrastructure.
- Ensure seamless integration of financial systems such as Oracle R12, Markview, Hyperion, Opera, Symphony POS, Book4Time, and abrhil.
- Develop and maintain a high sense of urgency and wide availability to meet the needs of our guests and employees.
Requirements
- Knowledge of networks and SD-WAN.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a high sense of urgency.
- Strong technical skills and experience in IT management.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
