EHS Coordinator

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced EHS Coordinator to join our dynamic team in Mexico City. As an EHS Coordinator, you will play a critical role in ensuring compliance with local, state, federal, and company rules and regulations in Mexico and the Dominican Republic.

Main Responsibilities:

• Manage the EHS system in Mexico and the Dominican Republic, ensuring seamless integration with company-wide initiatives.
• Lead internal audits to ensure compliance with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 standards.
• Develop and implement corrective and preventive actions to prevent injuries, environmental incidents, and deviations from targets.
• Collaborate with employees to promote a culture of safety, health, and environmental responsibility.
• Provide guidance and support to employees on EHS policies and procedures.
• Conduct investigations and develop reports on incidents, near-misses, and other EHS-related events.
• Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices in EHS management.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as EHS, Quality, or Environmental Science.
• 4-6 years of experience in the health, safety, and environmental sector, preferably in the energy or manufacturing industry.
• Advanced English language skills (writing and speaking).
• Ability to travel within Mexico and the Dominican Republic, with occasional travel to other countries.
• Internal auditor certification in ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 is highly desirable.
