About the Role:
We are seeking a Product Development Scientist to join our team in Los Angeles, California. This is an exciting opportunity for a talented individual to drive innovation and contribute to the development of new products.
As a Product Development Scientist, you will be responsible for delivering R&D activities required to complete new product development, portfolio maintenance, and/or productivity projects. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that projects meet the desired consumer experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Organize and execute projects in line with RDQ, marketing, and manufacturing requirements.
- Effectively communicate project status and risks to stakeholders.
- Plan and conduct pilot plant and factory trials in accordance with good manufacturing practice and HACCP requirements.
- Analyze and interpret results, and create technical reports that lead to conclusions and recommendations.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Science, or Engineering, ideally with experience in a fast-moving consumer goods market.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify problems proactively and create solutions independently.
- Excellent communication and writing skills, with the ability to write clear and concise technical reports.
Estimated Salary: $85,000 - $110,000 per year
