About the Role

Job Summary:

The Medical Case Manager (MCM) plays a critical role in ensuring the health and well-being of our clients while they are traveling abroad. As a seasoned healthcare professional, you will be responsible for monitoring the medical condition of our clients and making determinations to ensure they receive appropriate medical care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor the medical condition of clients and make determinations to ensure they receive appropriate medical care.
  • Assess the medical needs of clients and make recommendations for treatment.
  • Coordinate with medical professionals and facilities to ensure clients receive the best possible care.
  • Develop and implement plans to manage the medical risks associated with client travel.
  • Provide education and support to clients and their families to ensure they understand their medical needs and treatment options.

Requirements:

  • Registered Nurse or Paramedic degree.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in Acute/Critical Care, Emergency Department, or Emergency Services.
  • Personal expertise and knowledge in emergency/critical & acute care, aero medical transport services, and knowledge of flight physiology is a plus.
  • Critical independent thinking and ability to multi-task in situations where the outcome is time-sensitive.
  • Self-motivated and able to work under pressure with a high level of responsibility.
  • Effective time management to be able to multi-task, prioritize to meet varying tasks and deadlines, and delegate.
  • Strong communicator at all levels; verbally and written to build and maintain internal and external relationships.
  • Typing skills required, computer skills required include comfort level in learning new and complex programs, proficiency in Microsoft office (Word, Excel).
  • Language fluency in one or more of the following French, Italian, Spanish, German, Portuguese, and/or Russian preferred but not required.
