Job Description

To provide CEMEX with comprehensive guidance on end-to-end processes and internal controls through effective communication of Company internal control activities in the CEMEX Policy Center.

Main Responsibilities
  • Enhance internal controls documentation for operative and administrative E2E processes.
  • Map processes and design internal control matrices.
  • Improve and manage internal control tools (PPC and others).
  • Support and follow-up on new company initiatives to ensure the control environment.
  • Clean and visualize data for department projects.
  • Automate internal controls.
Position Challenges
  • Understand processes across different areas.
  • Manage multiple stakeholders, tasks, and tight deadlines.
  • Understand and focus on customer needs.
  • Implement ESG internal control frameworks and applicable regulations.
Qualifications
  • Advanced English proficiency (verbal and written).
  • Bachelor's in accounting or finance.
  • Past experience in audit firms. Desired: Experience in both internal and external audit matters.
  • 1 year of experience in data analysis.
  • Technical skills: Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, SharePoint, etc.), BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, etc.).
  • Soft skills: effective verbal/written communication, proactive, team player, problem-solving, self-motivation.
