Job Description

The Internal Communications & Services Analyst plays a crucial role in supporting the Global Internal Communications team in implementing employee communication strategies and initiatives. This role provides critical data to inform decision-making, project planning, and execution.

Main Responsibilities
  • Communication Support: Develop and implement internal communication strategies to ensure consistent and effective messaging across the organization.
  • Event Coordination: Support the planning and execution of company events, including the Annual General Meeting, Cemex Day, Quarterly Calls, Cemex Global Awards, and CEO Open Dialogues.
  • Content Creation: Plan, create, edit, and distribute internal communications materials, including newsletters, emails, intranet content, and other digital media.
  • Data Analytics: Collect, process, and analyze data to measure the effectiveness of internal communication strategies and initiatives. Provide insights and recommendations based on data analysis.
  • Project Support: Assist with project planning and management to ensure timely and successful execution of communication initiatives.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with various departments and teams to gather information, coordinate efforts, and ensure alignment in communication activities.
  • Administrative Tasks: Perform administrative duties as required, including scheduling meetings, maintaining records, and managing communication tools and platforms.
Position Challenges
  • High-intensity work schedules when supporting the coordination of key company events.
  • Hard deadlines for preparing briefings and supporting materials for internal and external events.
  • Ensuring consistent communication across multiple time zones and cultural contexts.
  • Integrating and analyzing large volumes of data to measure communication effectiveness.
  • Coordinating logistics for live events and ensuring flawless execution.
  • Keeping communication content engaging and relevant for a diverse, dispersed workforce.
Qualifications
  • Fluent in Spanish and English (speaking and writing proficiencies).
  • Proficiency in data collection and analysis tools.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Familiarity with digital communication platforms and content management systems.
  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Prior experience or internships in communications, marketing, or a related field are preferred but not required.
  • Personal attributes: Detail-oriented, proactive, adaptable, and collaborative.
