**About the Role**

We are seeking a highly skilled Second Level Operations Specialist to join our team at Ericsson. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for coordinating, managing, and executing reactive maintenance activities that require a higher level of support than offered by our 1st level Operations team.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Assist with assurance support activities to ensure that services provided to customers are continuously available and performing to Service Level Agreement (SLA) performance levels.
  • Handle incident management to resolve technical issues in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Assist with problem management to identify and resolve underlying issues that may be causing technical problems.
  • Perform system administration tasks to ensure that our systems are running smoothly and efficiently.
  • Work with billing operations to ensure that customer billing is accurate and timely.

**Requirements**

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering (IT, Telecom) or equivalent experience.
  • 3-5 years' experience in deploying, testing, and leading testing teams.
  • ISEB/ISTQB software testing qualifications are an advantage.

**Additional Requirements**

  • Knowledge of managed service telecom operations practice.
  • Knowledge sharing and collaboration skills.
  • Ericsson knowledge and experience.

**Technical Background**

We are looking for a candidate with a strong technical background in the following areas:

  • PS Core knowledge, topology, interfaces, protocols.
  • Ericsson SGSN - MME 1.54 or higher.
  • vEPG, vMME, vSAPC, WMG, SGSN, EVNFM, CCDM, CCSM, CCRC, PCC, PCG.
  • Instantiate SMF, UPF, configure and operate SMF, UPF, troubleshoot SMF and UPF.
  • Kubernetes knowledge.

**Languages**

  • Moshell.
  • UNIX.
  • Excel and Macros.
  • Python.
