About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Pricing Manager to join our team in Mexico. As a Pricing Manager, you will be responsible for leading the Deals Desk Pricing Team in AMER and ensuring that all pricing maximizes profit while adhering to compliance obligations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Recruit, hire, and develop Pricing Strategists to ensure they maintain expert-level knowledge of Hitachi Vantara solutions, product components, pricing requirements, and compliance regulations.
  • Ensure the Pricing Strategist team is capable of achieving responsiveness SLAs and corporate policy is followed with respect to HR issues.
  • Act as a key advisor to the Hitachi Vantara AMER field on appropriate pricing of bids and actively engage with Commercial Managers & GFS team to ensure alternative finance methods are being considered.
  • Manage and report on the utilization of Hitachi Vantara funded Programs and participate in Global Pricing Committee meetings to maintain awareness of Hitachi Vantara pricing strategies.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Business or related field highly desirable.
  • Experience directly related to IT systems and data storage pricing issues, with internal Hitachi Vantara experience of 3-5 years preferred.
  • Prior experience of, or demonstrable potential for, management of finance or pre-sales support personnel.
  • Demonstrable strong background in dealing with customers and managing financial/technical staff.
  • Knowledge of AMER storage industry, deal analysis, strategic pricing, US GAAP revenue recognition accounting standards, Hitachi Vantara Sales and Services Standards, and customer requirements.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization and strong organizational and people management skills.
