Technical Support Specialist for News Production

We are seeking an experienced Technical Support Specialist to join our Workflow Solutions team. The ideal candidate will provide top-notch support to media companies using our software in North, Central and South America.
Responsibilities:- Provide on-site, telephone, and remote assistance for software and systems used in television, radio, online, and network newsrooms.
- Deliver on-site and remote training to users of our software and systems.
- Log, test, and help resolve customer issues, interfacing with other development and support groups as necessary.
- Troubleshoot software and systems issues with the Support, Product, and Technology Solutions teams.
- Deploy software and perform server migrations on-site and remotely.
- Support sales and marketing efforts for customers on-site and remotely.
- A strong understanding of news production systems and workflows is preferred, with experience in AP ENPS a significant plus.
- Excellent technical aptitude and proficient understanding of personal computers (PC and Mac) and Microsoft Windows.
- University degree in journalism, computer sciences, or a related discipline, or additional relevant work experience.
- Advanced-level professional competency in written and spoken English and Spanish is mandatory.
- Ability to obtain a visa to travel to and work temporarily in the United States is strongly preferred.
The estimated salary range for this position is between $80,000 and $110,000 per year, depending on experience. Employees are eligible for the full benefits package offered to AP staff in the country where they are based.
