- Recruit, hire, develop, and retain sales associates to ensure sufficient staffing to meet business needs.
- Train, develop, and coach the associate team; provide performance feedback to increase confidence and capability.
- Support the annual review process for sales associates.
- Drive employee engagement by recognizing and rewarding employees for outstanding performance.
- Execute Division of Responsibility as assigned by the Store Manager.
- Ensure the associate team adheres to employment practices and policies.
- Proactively identify customer and performance issues and communicate them to store management for resolution.
- Maintain company brand standards of neat, clean, and organized sales floor, cash wrap, and fitting room to ensure a safe environment for employees and customers.
- Ensure all visual directives, including mapping and floorset, are properly planned, scheduled, and executed within the allotted timeframe.
- Generate and analyze merchandise reports to make necessary merchandising moves to maximize presentation and drive sales.
- Manage the efficient and productive handling of merchandise from shipment receipt and processing to markdown optimization and replenishment systems.
- Execute daily operational procedures to ensure store audit compliance and shrink results meet company loss prevention standards.
- Minimum high school education or equivalent.
- 2+ years of retail or equivalent management experience preferred.
- Ability to develop and train others.
- Demonstrated time management, prioritizing, organizing, and problem-solving skills.
- Demonstrated business acumen.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with customers and store team.
- Demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks and work in a fast-paced and deadline-oriented environment.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule to meet business needs.
- Ability to perform all Essential Job Functions.
- Computer and technology proficiency.
