About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Development Specialist to join our team at LHR Global - Saudi Arabia. As a key member of our organization, you will play a crucial role in driving growth and innovation through strategic partnerships and joint ventures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Transaction Execution: Manage all aspects of transaction execution, including due diligence, valuation, and negotiation of commercial terms.
  • Business Development: Develop and execute business development strategies to identify and pursue new opportunities for growth and innovation.
  • Stakeholder Management: Manage stakeholder relationships, including internal organizations, consultants, and potential partners.
  • Deal Structuring: Assemble initial offerings to potential investors, lead investor selection activities, and coordinate with internal subject matter experts to draft Memorandums of Understanding/Letter of Intent.
  • Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure compliance with process stage gates and approvals, and manage contract payments and variations within limits.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Economics, Business, or Finance from a recognized and approved international program.
  • Experience: At least 5 years of experience in business development, with a strong background in joint venture transactions.
  • Certifications: Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), Certified Management Accountant (CMA), or Project Management Professional (PMP) certification are advantageous.
  • Industry Expertise: Strong knowledge of the energy industry, with experience in commercialization, spin-offs, or joint venturing, project development, financial valuations and modeling, facilities planning, strategy development, or relevant experience.
Benefits
  • Monthly Base Salary: Aligned with company employees with similar skills.
  • Monthly Overbase: 25% of monthly base salary.
  • Benefits Supplement: 20% of monthly base salary, increasing to 25% after 3 years, 30% after 6 years, and 35% after 12 years.
  • Severance Package: 2 weeks' pay for each year of service, increasing to 4 weeks' pay after 6 years.
  • Employee Share Purchase Plan (ESPP): Eligible after 12 months of service, with a maximum purchase equal to 10% monthly base pay and a 20% share discount.
  • Incentive Plan: Annual, based on performance, with an approximate value of 1.8x monthly base salary.
  • Travel Allowance: Annual, with an approximate value of $8,200 per household member 11+ years old residing in Saudi Arabia and $6,000 per household member under 11 years old.
  • Vacation & Paid Holidays: 38 vacation days, 4 travel days, and 11-13 paid holidays.
  • Medical/Dental Plan: Complimentary in-Kingdom Johns Hopkins medical care/facilities for employee and eligible family members, with subsidized in-Kingdom dental services.
  • Educational Assistance Plan (EAP): Out-of-Kingdom assistance with 90% of expenses, up to a maximum of 5x monthly base salary or the company max ($48.5K), plus 3 round-trip economy air travel tickets for undergraduate college-age children, and 2 round-trip economy air travel tickets for college-age children.
  • Settling in Allowance: One-time payment, with a value of 100% of monthly base salary for family status and 60% of monthly base salary for single/bachelor status.
