Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Materials Optimization Specialist to join our team at Terex Corporation. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in designing and specifying stores, supporting product design processes, and implementing visual controls.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and specify stores to optimize inventory levels and reduce waste
  • Support product design processes to ensure efficient production and delivery
  • Implement visual controls to improve workflow and reduce errors
  • Track project progress and report gaps and opportunities for improvement
  • Prepare new systems for ERP implementation to streamline operations
  • Identify opportunities to positively impact Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, and Morale
  • Participate in and lead kaizen events to drive continuous improvement
  • Support and lead problem-solving and reporting efforts when materials issues arise
  • Develop and maintain materials and information flows (value stream maps) to optimize supply chain efficiency
