Job Summary

As a Quality Training Specialist, Medical Communications at Thermo Fisher Scientific, you will play a critical role in ensuring the success of our Medical Communications team. This position is responsible for overseeing and coordinating training and quality programs, as well as ensuring compliance with corporate, departmental, and client policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and deliver training programs and curriculums to promote continuous improvement
  • Lead or perform quality reviews of MIA and MIS staff customer interactions and associated documentation
  • Coordinate and assist with corrective action plans as needed
  • Ensure program compliance with corporate, departmental, and client policies and procedures
  • May serve as a liaison with clients for training or quality topics
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy or equivalent and relevant formal academic/vocational qualification
  • Previous experience providing knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the job (comparable to 5+ years)
  • Comprehensive understanding of applicable health professionals (e.g. FDA, EMA) or local regulations
  • Strong knowledge of drugs and drug information
  • Ability to perform call/document review, including complex clinical discussions and provide clear and concise feedback
  • Phenomenal organizational and time management skills
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to multi-task
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Strong digital literacy, including Microsoft Office
  • Ability to train and mentor others
  • Excellent language skills (comprehension, speaking, reading, and writing) must be proven if the position requires languages other than English
  • Ability to work in a team environment and/or independently as needed
