**Job Summary**

At Thermo Fisher Scientific, we are seeking a highly skilled Operations Manager, Medical Communications to join our team. As a key member of our Medical Communications department, you will be responsible for leading key client relationships and supervising the operations of the program team providing medical/clinical information to enhance operational quality and client dedication.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Lead key client relationships and supervise the operations of the program team providing medical/clinical information to enhance operational quality and client dedication.
  • Advises and directs strategic planning for program operations and provides input on team budgets/invoicing, recruiting, and forecasting.
  • Mentors, trains, and supervises junior level managers, healthcare professional program staff, and/or other program support staff on the program team to ensure contracted services are provided in accordance with client and department policies and procedures and contractual agreements.
  • Supervise program staff providing medical/clinical information, using medical/clinical background to participate in, manage, and conduct quality review of medical/clinical work.
  • Oversees and/or completes development of client reports and procedural documents.
  • Maintains detailed program knowledge, with an emphasis on medical/clinical content (where applicable), troubleshoots program issues, monitors, and ensures compliance with company policies and procedures including SOP's, protocols, and other regulations by conducting quality monitoring of staff work.
  • Acts as liaison between the client, program management, and staff for operational issues such as workflow processes, available resources, and new initiatives impacting the program.
  • Coordinates all aspects of program training including conducting training, developing curriculum, and detailing and maintaining training records and curriculum.

**Requirements:**

  • Strong leadership and management skills with experience in medical communications or a related field.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with clients, staff, and other stakeholders.
  • Ability to analyze complex information and make sound decisions.
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills with the ability to resolve issues in a timely and effective manner.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines.
