Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Asset Management Specialist to join our team at Flextronics - The Flex Company. As an Asset Management Specialist, you will play a critical role in planning, directing, and controlling all asset activities within the company.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Capex Forecast and Submissions Process to ensure accurate and timely budgeting and planning.
  • Advise and propose to Senior Management on Investment Reduction opportunities to optimize asset utilization and minimize costs.
  • Ensure the Supplier Selection process follows global AVL (Approved Vendor List) when applicable, or generate the correct analysis to select a supplier that meets our manufacturing requirements.
  • Verify that localized equipment solutions adhere to local policy and procedure to ensure compliance and efficiency.
  • Implement and lead internal initiatives to improve manufacturing processes, including PCBA (Printed Circuit Board Assembly), Harness, and Plastics.
  • Identify and validate available internal assets based on specifications and comparison between internal customer requirements and the specifications of machinery to reduce or avoid Capex investment.
  • Support the negotiation of rental agreements to optimize asset utilization and minimize costs.
  • Ensure local price proposals are aligned to Global Supply Agreement/local price standards to maintain consistency and fairness.
  • Support and analyze technical solutions for PCBA-Mechanicals-Harness or Plastics Industries to ensure optimal asset utilization and minimize costs.
  • Support external sales of surplus equipment to maximize asset value and minimize waste.

Requirements:

  • Advanced experience with a proven track record in a guidance role within contract manufacturing, Electronic-metal-Plastic.
  • Extensive experience in manufacturing operations, ensuring quality, safety, and timely delivery of finished goods.
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechatronic, Industrial, Electronic Engineering, or a related field.
  • PCBA Industries knowledge and programming (Front End/Backend).
  • Experience in Soldering/Conformal/Selective/Insertion & SMT Processes.
  • Deep understanding of Manufacturing Industries (data integration or analysis of center products is a plus).
