About the Role

We are seeking an experienced ECU Requirements Specialist to join our team at Magna. As a key member of our engineering group, you will be responsible for understanding customer requirements and translating them into actionable system design alternatives.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will have 3+ years' experience in automotive electronics serial development projects and a bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Science. They will be responsible for leading system/product requirements specifications activities, providing technical guidance, and performing analysis for stakeholder requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Liaise with multiple stakeholders to understand requirements, domain, viable technology, and development activities for automotive ECU development projects.
  • Analyze and define system design alternatives, including front-end communications with customers regarding requirements and solutions.
  • Daily technical guidance of engineering activities within the team.
  • Understand the needs of automotive customers, translate them into actionable requirements for functional disciplines (requirements engineering), and system testing.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Science.
  • 3+ years' relevant experience in automotive electronics serial development projects.
  • Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, IPC A 610 knowledge.
