Schneider Electric is seeking a strategic leader to drive direct material cost reduction initiatives in our plant. As a Material Productivity Leader, you will provide direction and execute initiatives to reduce direct material costs. You will also support operational relations with suppliers, ensuring contract compliance and participating in RFQ processes. Additionally, you will track and report key supplier performance data. Key responsibilities include leading a project portfolio of cost reduction initiatives, developing and executing cost reduction projects, and building a pipeline of new ideas. You will also coach and lead the procurement organization in project management best practices. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Business, bilingual English/Spanish proficiency, and +3 years of project management experience. Strong project management and supply chain knowledge are required. Experience with SAP and Agile methodologies is a plus. The role requires international travel and a valid passport.
