Packaging Data Specialist

Purpose of the Position:
As a key member of the Colgate-Palmolive team, you will be responsible for planning, controlling, and administering the cross-category process for updating master data at the SAP system level. This includes creating and maintaining new skus, existing skus, new packaging components, and consumptions, as well as their bills of materials (BOM). You will also execute exchange controls (ECN) related to the manufacture of products in the manufacturing plant, Copacker, and CoMan when applicable.
Main Responsibilities:
- Administer the cross-category control and monitoring system of registrations and changes for related reports.
- Prepare flows in the AODocs system to register views and create new Packaging and WIP components.
- Coordinate the update of master data in Skus that require support from the Master Data team, preserve records, and communicate the updates.
- Ensure compliance with quality standards, including product conformity, product design, marketing, technology transfer, process validation, and control, corrective and preventive actions, change control, consumer complaints, storage, and management of information, labeling, and finished product, intercompany supply, supplier administration, and laboratory tests.
Required Skills and Education:
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Chemistry, Systems, or Industrial) or similar.
- 1-3 years of experience desirable.
- Project management skills.
- Financial analysis of projects.
- Basic statistics.
- SAP system, Google, and related software skills.
- English language proficiency.
- Packaging material testing could be desirable.
- Marketing knowledge.
