Key Responsibilities:
Client Engagement and Communication: Work closely with the Sales team to comprehend client requirements and business goals during the early phases of the sales process. Ensure potential clients grasp the value of our offerings through expert technical insights and compelling demonstrations, showcasing our product and solution capabilities in both local and international payment markets.
Customized Product Insight: Act as a technical consultant by focusing on feasible solutions for intricate integrations. Guide clients through the Technical Discovery and Design & Qualification phases, crafting achievable steps for merchants to establish a robust partnership.
Solution Architecture and Business Strategy: Deliver technical architecture support and management by liaising with both internal and external stakeholders, serving as the primary contact during the pre-sales phase. Design customized solutions that align with client needs while ensuring compatibility with our capabilities. Create technical proposals, high-level diagrams, and documentation that clearly articulate the proposed solutions and their advantages, ensuring alignment with corporate objectives by providing technical assessments of opportunities.
Analytical Problem-Solving: Address complex challenges and organize regular check-ins to maintain momentum on deals in the pipeline, collaborating closely with the Sales team.
Dynamic Demo Creation: Develop and present engaging product demonstrations utilizing demo-building tools, such as COAST or API call samples, emphasizing the advantages of our payment orchestration solutions.
Pre-sales Advocate: Identify and communicate how our solutions enhance the client's business during the pre-sales phase, generating positive engagement and keeping internal teams informed about merchant needs and priorities, particularly in the initial design phase of the payment orchestration solution.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
- At least 5 years of experience in a Sales Engineering role or a similar technical position.
- Demonstrated success in managing technical pre-sales activities, including discovery, design, and client presentations.
- Strong technical knowledge with the ability to interpret complex technical concepts and translate them into business solutions.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and meticulous attention to detail in high-pressure situations.
- Outstanding communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Capacity to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and cultivate strong client relationships.
- Proficient understanding of the payments industry, including cross-border and local transactions.
- High-level familiarity with coding, API, SQL, and programming languages.
- Proven leadership skills with experience in managing technical teams.
- Familiarity with payment orchestration solutions and tools like COAST is advantageous.
- Knowledge of AWS Cloudwatch, New Relic, Kibana, Datadog, or similar systems for troubleshooting client issues is a plus.
- Fluent in English and Spanish; Portuguese fluency is preferred.
