The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining and growing assigned customers within the Appliance Market. Key responsibilities include:
Key Responsibilities:- Coordinate support for assigned customers, focusing on long-term profitability and customer satisfaction.
- Manage commercial relationships with customers, balancing time between supporting current business and developing new opportunities.
- Receive and respond to RFQs, following documented procedures to gather necessary information and provide timely quotations.
- Work internally to execute on new product introductions and monitor customer satisfaction through formal and informal means.
- Coordinate and lead regular business reviews with key customers, addressing issues and areas for improvement.
- Develop and implement sales plans to achieve or exceed sales and profit targets, preparing regular sales reports and forecast updates.
- Collaborate with customers' purchasing and engineering groups, as well as other customer groups, to enhance profitability and cost reductions.
- Aid in the coordination of internal activities to support customer projects, product development, and program management.
- Work with supervisors and the VP of Sales to negotiate customer contracts and evaluate business systems for improvement.
Requirements:
- 7 years of industry experience within the supply base similar to ECI or within an HVAC OEM.
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year college or university; technical degree preferred.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to interface with internal and external customers.
- Good analytical and general business skills, with the ability to display good judgment and initiative.
- Demonstrated team membership skills and willingness to travel 50%.
