About This Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Compliance Specialist to join our team and play a critical role in ensuring our drivers comply with hours of Service regulations. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing audits, clarifying log requirements, and providing technical assistance with our electronic log system.

Key Responsibilities

  • Help drivers expand their knowledge of Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations.
  • Effectively explain how to operate the electronic log system to drivers.
  • Review and audit drivers' log information to ensure compliance.
  • Investigate log information across multiple systems to identify policy violations.
  • Counsel drivers on violations found in audits and implement disciplinary actions as necessary.
  • Verify that all movement of trucks is accurately recorded on drivers' logs.

Requirements

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage stressful situations.
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy.
  • Willingness to be a team player and contribute to a positive work environment.
  • Must have a valid visa to work in the USA.
